[RESULTS] Hold-up in Florida for Abdel Said

Only one 5* show in the world this weekend due to the EHV-1 outbreak in Western Europe. On Saturday night, few lucky spectators watched once more some tremendous sport at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington (USA) WEF – Winter Equestrian Festival. German rider Daniel Deusser and Stephan Conter’s bay mare Killer Queen VDM were close to another victory after their success in the 4* Grand Prix on 7 February. But yesterday, as we say, fortune favored the brave who tried his luck in front of some of the best riders in the world. Yesterday was the day of Abdel Said (EGY), riding his own Selle Français gelding Bandit Savoie…quite an appropriate name for a horse stealing the gold! Congratulations to you Abdel for this fantastic win, and congratulations also to all the owners still supporting their horses jumping at the WEF!
